BACKGROUND:

Shayla is Reuben and Jerrad's mother and married to Cole. She is well off, and is close friends with Jeanie and Anjali who live on her street. She is the landlord of the Gopal Family (Aanya, Anjali, Veer and Jaya). She is always well groomed and is a stay at home mother.
