Finnian was the one who chose that he’d rather go to boarding school than stay at home with his annoying parents and two brothers; he’s never got along with his family, and due to this has confided in Evelynne about his current situation, as she’s very much able to empathise with him. He is close with his sister though and speaks to her via phone call very regularly.
