A young, feisty, volatile bee with an attitude and overflowing with energy. She longs to be an explorer to prove all who have doubted her wrong. While she has issues with priorities and considering others, she is not inherently malicious, and is one of the three main heroes of the game. Her hasty, immature energy is often off-putting to others, having to be taught or restrained by Leif or Kabbu before making another one of her notoriously unfiltered and irreverent comments. She is the sister of Jaune the artist, who recently dismissed her for a mean comment Vi made regarding her art. Eventually, the two make up, but it is not an easy journey for Vi. Throughout the story, her questionable comments serve as comedy relief, and we get to watch her journey of learning to get along with others. Despite her unmistakable immaturity and socially oblivious chatter, Vi is one of the three heroes for a reason. Her priorities are somewhat misguided and shallow at times, but she is always well-meaning, fighting for the good of Bugaria and glory of being an explorer. Her real, full name is later revealed to be Violet, but her name is pronounced [vee].Vi is canonically around 16-17 years old.

I am looking for a medium to medium-high voice that is full of youth and sass. She is very snappy and loud with a more nasally tone. Think along the lines of the typical yippy, loud, aggressive short friend. A typical teenager, albeit with a more animated voice, her emotions manifest in expressing them very melodramatically; quick-tempered when upset with a drastic rise in volume, blatant sneering when unamused, jumpy when excited, etc. Despite the character’s tendency for loud, energetic moments, the actor must be able to deliver quiet and somber moments equally well without losing the unique qualities of the character. This contrast is vital to her character development and requires an actress with immense emotional range.
