SUPPORTING ROLE

Dodder Leach (he/him) is one of the most wealthy men in Elysium, if not the country. He own the most prolific mining company in the state and has no qualms about his impact on the environment. In fact, he would rather see climate change play out than lose a cent of his own money. Dodder works very closely with the Governor on their various shady dealings. 

Dodder only appears in a few episodes, so you might want to consider auditioning for a second role as well.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an appropriately aged voice (50s to 60s) for this character. Dodder is a snake posing as a man. He's greasy, greedy, and has not a drop of empathy in his body. Dodder is essentially Wormtail in a suit and with billions of dollars in his pocket. 

The voice actor must be comfortable playing a sexist, homophobic, and racist character. 

We'd normally want to see natural and convincing acting rather than exaggerated or cartoonish - but since Leach is such an exaggerated character, feel free to interpret at will 

We like to collaborate with our actors to bring characters to life - so bring your own interpretation to the role! Including more than one type of voice is encouraged. Any format (ABC, AABBCC, ABCABC etc) is accepted.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Actors must have no background noise and a quality microphone (prosumer preferred - but any good quality microphone is fine!) when recording. Please limit editing your audition to only cuts and minimising noise.
