MAIN ROLE

Giv Hasan (he/him) is a 35-year-old nurse working at Higanbana General Hospital. He also works as a part-time live in nurse (or 'Matron', as the Director likes to call him) at the Eden Orphanage, where he resides with his fiercely loyal husband, Sujin Baek.

Giv has a strong sense of justice and altruistic to a fault. He is probably the most mature character at the Eden Orphanage, however when he is with his husband, a youthful and playful side can also come out. Despite his morality, if it means protecting his family, he would go to the extremes to ensure their safety.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an appropriately aged voice (upper 20s to 40s) for Giv. He will sound a tad more mature than Sujin. The voice actor for Giv will need to be a strong actor and able to portray a myriad of emotions. There will be dramatic moments where the actor will be required to scream, cry, and portray pain convincingly. Giv is a warm and loving character, but he also has the potential to be strong or (righteously) angry.

There may be non-explicit sexual scenes - so you must be comfortable with voice acting these parts (they will be very brief).

We'd like to see natural and convincing acting rather than exaggerated or cartoonish - so please keep this in mind while auditioning.

We like to collaborate with our actors to bring characters to life - so bring your own interpretation to the role! Including more than one type of voice is encouraged. Any format (ABC, AABBCC, ABCABC etc) is accepted.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Actors must have no background noise and a quality microphone (prosumer preferred - but any good quality microphone is fine!) while recording. Please limit editing your audition to only cuts and minimising noise.
