VOICE REFERENCE:
Rest in peace to Efrem Zimbalist Jr, the man who voiced Doc Ock in “Spider-Man: The Animated Series”, his voice was simply perfect for it.
CHARACTER/VOICE DESCRIPTIONS:
Otto Octavius is a brilliant and arrogant scientist with a doctorate in nuclear physics. Octavius designed a set of highly advanced mechanical tentacle appendages, intended for delicate experiments with radioactive materials. However, a tragic accident occurred during one such experiment, causing a nuclear explosion that fused the mechanical arms to Octavius’s body. Following the incident, Otto Octavius embraced his newfound abilities and, driven by a desire for power and dominance, adopted the alias “Doctor Octopus.” Otto’s voice would be that of someone with an intellect far beyond our own. His voice should resonate with a tone of calculated confidence, conveying the brilliance that defines his status as an incredible scientist. Deep within his voice, there should be a subtle hint of arrogance, reflecting his unwavering belief in his own superiority. The delivery should be measured and articulate, capturing the essence of a man who sees himself as both a genius and a master strategist. Passion, intensity, and obsession can describe the drive that Doc Ock has in his scientific and villainous pursuits and should be heard in his voice.

Now watch as a trap a spider in a web of my own! A web of my newfound arms! Your strength is merely that of a spider, but mine is the energy of an atom! Born of a nuclear accident!
So, Spider-Man, we meet again! But, this time, alas, it shall be our FINAL encounter! Never again will you interfere with the plans of those who are your superior!
You dared to mock me before! Why aren’t you mocking me now? Where are your brave words and taunts now, Spider-Man?
I love this! My only suggestions/tweaks would be making the pitch/tone of his voice a little bit higher to match that of the 90s animated series' voice!
