- ABOUT THE ROLE: This is the main character of "Swords and Roses", so consistency would be important for this role. If you're wanting a shorter term, look at the other roles below! We're looking for someone with the desire to finish season 1 (approx. 16 videos, about 8 minutes long each) and possibly interested in returning for season 2 next year. Obviously you won't be the only voice in those videos, you'll be alongside the rest of the cast. If you have a male voice friend that you have excellent chemistry with, please feel free to mention it in your submission! We'd love to have some great chemistry between the male and female leads.
- CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Ambrosia (aka Rose) is the sole princess and heir to Camelot. She's around 20 years old, with a soft, delicate but strong personality. She's cheerful, kind, compassionate, but also insecure, unsure and timid. Because of the loss of the queen (her mother) when she was young, and then being forced away from home to live in an abandoned tower, Ambrosia has a cloud of trauma that hinders her from following her dream to be a warrior queen like her mother. Rose's voice should be young and spirited, but able to be serious and commanding as she grows into her power. (we're creating a beautiful badass here)
- SIMILAR CHARACTERS: Ambrosia's VA should have a similar tone/texture as Rapunzel from "Tangled", Shirayuki from "Snow White with Red Hair", Tifa from "Final Fantasy 7 Remake".
