Heretical Tavern - New Roles
DMurph for Origeer The Fire Giant
As the name suggests this character is a Fire Giant. I would love either a very convincing or native Scottish or Irish accent for this role, HOWEVER, it is not REQUIRED. Again, the beauty of D&D everyone, if you can make something sound better than whatever I'm thinking of, go for it.
Origeer is an old being, master of the forge, and inventor of the some of the grandest creations during the cataclysm. We want a very fatherly approach to the role at hand, both caring in his own way and harsh in words and action. Tough love if the only language you speak. You don't care much for people, but your machines that have become alive you have a great deal of care for, and it breaks your heart sending them to fight.
But you'd never show it fully. Think a kind of Kratos with Atreus vibe.
(Teaching your newly made creations their purpose) "You will be sword and shield. Bastion and Ballista. It is your duty, my children, to protect that which cannot protect itself.
(Upset at someone having basically thrown your creations into the fire with no regard for their safety) "They were just made! (Pause and collect yourself) They were just made and needed time to prepare, but you threw them right into the jaws of oblivion! You sent children to perish, you heartless bastard!
(Exhausted, you're nearing your end and trying to pass something along, but you're not afraid. Be that strong fatherly figure) "You weren't sent for me... You were sent for this. (Pause) The Cradle... My life's work. The demons cannot get their hands on this. Guard it... And ensure my apprentices survive. (Pause) Do not weep, do your job.
This is a very good take mate, I hope you get it.
Thanks, friend!
