Stanley Myers – usually known as Chief Engineer Myers – has spent most of his life working on the Atlantic Oil Rig and is seen as part of the furniture.
A very amicable and casual man, he hasn’t let his old age keep him from running around the base and ensuring its in the best state it can be, considering it is a 200 year old offshore platform.
Important Note: I envision this character as sounding like your archetypal friendly man in his 60s+, who's just very warm and personal with everyone.

The voice is really good. I'm not really hearing a lot of background noise so much as echo and reverb. Toss a thick blanket over you when you record and It'll help a good bit.
