RENEE is a young woman working at the pigment shop in 1870s France. Her dream of being a painter was crushed when she was a child, and now she believes she is a failure who is only good at mixing paint, noting more. She lives a harsh life, so her voice shouldn't be too youthful. Her life lacks any passion. That is, until her childhood friend burst into her shop in need of a help. Renee's desire to reconnect with him, helps her find her inner artist again, but the old trauma that stopped her from painting in the first place is getting in her way.
