The NCR Rangers are the best of the best in the NCR Military. Essentially special forces, they are an all volunteer group that goes out on dangerous, high-risk missions to accomplish the goals of the NCR. From scouts and nighttime raids to assassinations and sometimes even combat missions.

This NCR Ranger has been taken captive by the Powder Gangers. Beaten, abused, and possibly even worse, she remains stalwart, despite accepting she won't make it out alive. By the time the Player arrives, they have the choice of letting the scene play out - which will result in the Ranger's execution - or saving the Ranger for a boost to their karma and NCR reputation.
