During the initial outbreak, she was bit but never turned. She kept this hidden by getting a large tattoo where the bite was. On her way to Georgia, she finds Quinnie and takes her in, protecting her from the elements. She prefers being alone but after finding Nic and Junebug, she decides to stick around.
