Major Character
(Voiced by Robert McCollum)
A soldier and member of the 104th Training Corps, among whom he ranked 2nd best (just behind Mikasa). He is regarded as the charismatic and reliable "big brother" to the group. Passionate and honest, he holds a strong sense of duty within his heart, and joins the Scout Regiment shortly after graduating. He is known for his kind heart, and often takes on extra burdens for the sake of his comrades. Best friends with Bertholdt.
*A medium/low voice*
(Consoling) "Hey. Easy now. You're just getting worked up again."
(Serious) "There are times we can't run away, no matter how bad the odds are. When the people we're supposed to protect are threatened, we have to enter the fray and shield them. And it doesn't matter who or what the enemy is. We need to master skills and get stronger, with artillery as well as hand-to-hand combat. I think that's our responsibility as soldiers."
(Determined) "Do we? I'm going to return to the home that was taken from me. That's all I care about now. I will do it. No matter what."
