Emily decides to take a detour at night after she stayed at school way too late. She figured that taking this detour is going to save her a lot of time. Even though her parents warned her to never take this detour. When she takes the detour, she starts to feel a dark energy pulling her backwards before she knows it she's in a weird house she tries to leave it but she keeps looping around in it unable to leave Emily realizes that she has somehow wound up in the maze and loop of nothing but sorrow fear and demise. As the days go by Emily uses her tape recorder to record daily entries to her video journal that she has been making for a while she has a bunch of tapes in her backpack that's how she's doing it each day she records a new entry.

[Emily is clearly in a manic mental state] Emily: It sounded like someone was being murdered… all I could hear was their screams, their horrible screams…the air had a… [Emily starts to choke up] horrible stench … I only ever smelled it when there was a dead animal under our house once. My parents warned me to never walk near that path but I didn't listen… I didn't listen … [Emily starts tearing up]
Officer Mclearnes: Well in order for us to be able to help you and move forward with your case we have to- [Emily cuts him off] Emily: THERE IS NOTHING TO SOLVE. [officer Mclearnes stays silent after emily yells at him]
[Emily stares off into the distance , petrified look on her face voice starts to shake] Emily: She’s here she's here SHE'S HERE
