Hello! I'm Heather Quest (either Heather or Quest for short). I'm nonbinary (they/them or she/her pronouns) and I have a huge passion for voice acting. My history with voice acting as a profession might be a little short, but my love for the art form goes back way longer, and I've always created voices for characters in games without voice acting or for characters in books as I read. Growing up, I didn't have much of an outlet for these voices, but I did have an outlet for creating characters. For over a decade, I've been a stage actor, and have learned how to dive into a character and fluidly adapt their inner motivations and outer presentations as needed. I learned how to work with a deadline, hit emotional extremes, and how to take criticism and act on it immediately. Along the way, I also learned a littleĀ stage combat and how to really vocalize the grunts and sounds that come with a punch, swing, or a throw. In college, I also explored post-production and trained as an editor, which gave me a fantastic perspective on the life cycle of a project and how a performer can best serve the rest of the team. At the end of it all, I find myself finally called to give characters their voices again. My passion inspired my time as a stage performer, and that passion has brought me back here to voice acting.
