Long ago a tall man in a black cloak appeared in our village and he said (pause) At first the villagers were skeptical so he called a young boy over to him. He rested his hand on the boy’s shoulder, a red aura appeared around the boy for a few seconds and then it disappeared and a gem grew from under his skin. (pause) the wizard told the boy. The boy did as told and a pillar of fire shot from the kid’s hand. The villagers stood around in awe with their mouths agape. (pause) The people surrounded him, he put his hands up and from them a stream of multiple colors emerged, making a dome like shape around the village. One by one the people began to grow gems in their arms and shot air, water, fire, ice, lava, lightning, rocks and mud out of their hands. Snow began to fall, then rain. Mountains formed, the ground shook, volcanoes erupted. He then put his hand on the mayor of the village and said, (pause) Then suddenly everyone over thirty started to hold their chest, and fall to the ground. Everyone was confused, and rushed over to help them. One by one they went cold and their pulse slowly stopped. Once everyone realized what had happened they all turned to the wizard, but he had fled during the confusion and chaos and he has never been seen again. Some say he went north, and stayed there in a castle since, others say he died. No one really knows what happened to him. I believe he is still alive and the only way to lift this dreadful curse is to kill him. [telling a story]
