Payne is the second main character in the series and attends Midway High School. He lives in a student apartment and happens to be Cameron's direct neighbor. Outside of school, he has a small part-time job at the Take a Break cafe where he works with Jinx after class. He is also an unofficial member of Sepia gang.

Appearance

Payne is a tall (187cm) young man with dark skin. His dark brown hair falls slightly over his face, he has light blue eyes and a very light beard. He has a scar on the upper right side of his forehead, caused by Cameron when they were younger. He usually wears a turtleneck, scarf, or neck bandages to hide scars he has had since he was a child.

Personality

Payne is an intelligent and cold character. His face is expressionless most of the time, and he is even compared to an iceberg by Geraldine because of his coldness. Despite everything, he sometimes shows signs of affection, especially with Emma, his best friend or Vina, his little sister.
