Liam Neeson is an Irish actor whose career spans nearly five decades. Celebrated for both his work on stage and on screen, he has continued to entertain audiences in a variety of different roles. Whether it be award winning drama, thrilling action, or even the occasional comedy, he has shown that his “very particular set of skills” knows no limits. However, this all changed on February 4th, 2019. In an interview with the British site, The Independent, Neeson was promoting his new dark comedy movie, Cold Pursuit, in which he plays a caring father drawn to take out revenge against those responsible for the death of his son. In the press junket, the then 66-year-old actor was asked if he could recount a time where he felt the desire for revenge. He then started to tell a story, one that has caused much controversy.

In March of 2009, Liam Neeson and his wife, Natasha Richardson, went on a romantic getaway to Montreal. It was here the couple were enjoying a fun and relaxing day of taking skiing lessons together. However, things took a dark turn when, while skiing, Richardson began to fall down the hill. Neeson quickly rushed to her side to which she said that she was fine and had only bumped her head a little bit. The blow to her head proved to be worse than what was initially thought.
