This one is arguably the most difficult role, since his personality fluctuates a lot, so I put him first. 

He's 17 years old with dark hair and hemangioma over his left cheek, stopping just below his left eye. He has CF (a terminal illness that affects the lungs) from less than ideal conditions where he grew up. This being said, he has a sort of nonchalant outlook on life. His life expectancy is only about 35, so he treats life as if it has little meaning. He's very impulsive and blunt, often doing reckless things and unable to maintain many strong relationships (with the exception of Miyuna.) He and Miyuna are cousins and have been close their entire lives. She's one of the only people he willingly goes out of his way to interact with, and the only person he thinks genuinely values his life.

He has OSDD, a type of personality disorder, so he has multiple personas he takes on. He occasionally experiences gaps in memory, but mostly just extreme changes in mood or behavior depending on the situation. They become more extreme and noticeable as the story progresses, so the VA should be able to make the emotional changes without fully changing the character's voice. His most major changes are between the following emotions:

- stern and intimidating, often cold and sarcastic

- laid-back and straightforward, making blunt statements and often not taking things too seriously. This is his main persona.

- Extreme paranoia, often experiencing hallucinations or flashbacks. This one is rare, but should still be something you're comfortable with.

- Distant and dissociative, often with short term memory loss. This one is sort of present in the others as well, but at times it's more extreme than others, so I gave it it's own bullet point.

Characters that inspired him are Dazai Osamu from Bungo Stray Dogs, Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa 2, and JD from Heathers. You can also use these as vocal references, as they all have similar, mentally deranged fluctuations in both tone and personality.
