Josh is a good guy. He's the leader of a band called "Rugburn Samurai" and he's the on-again-off-again love interest of Strawberry Fields. He wants to win Strawberry's affection but fails to see that she only sees herself as a frog and not a raccoon. He can be a bit emotional and tends to cry at the slightest hint of rejection. Despite that, he's still a nice kid. 

  • [You just found out that your best friend has been telling the girl that has a crush on you to stay away from you. You're borderline pissed off] "What was all that business about Strawberry having to stay away from me, Marco?"

  • [You just got rejected by a girl that you've had a crush on, on Valentine's day. You're trying to recuperate but the tears start to flow.] "Okay, Strawberry. Maybe Next Time. I've got to get back to band practice. We're an Emo band and I'm properly miserable now..."

  • [You just got through showing some demos to your band after being dumped twice by two different girls. The band loves the demos and asks for your secret. In a depressed tone, you give a straight answer] "Well... Ever since my luck with girls has gone so sour, I've been absolutely miserable, you see..."

Thanks for the compliment. I'm really hoping the series finds/rediscovers its fanbase once we start production.

As for the audition, uh... Well. I gotta admit the first two takes on line one got my attention. But overall, the performance was a tad too "over the top". I highly suggest toning it down for a role like Josh since he's mainly the most normal compared to the other characters in the series. Food for thought.

    Ah, that's understandable man, the way I was shouting went way too comedically (debatably on the comedy aspect) overboard, although the way you described it made me assume he was yelling pretty badly since he desperately refuses to accept it so that's what made me go with that type, I probably will do a redo if that's alright with ya, oh and one more thing, I'm just curious of what you personally thought of the other two lines I did?

      They were good reads. My only complaint is that they felt a little too "broody". Borderline Batman, if you will.
