(strong-willed) I cannot imagine there is much for me to salvage on the surface, hence I am beginning to question my purpose here. [pause] (a glimmer of self-doubt) You may carry onward, but I shall find my own passage back to civilization, retracing the steps we took on this... crusade. (crushed, quiet) I will return to a simpler time, before whispers of the promised land on the other side of this wilderness.
