- Roles: Middle-Age and Senior Citizen.
- If you cannot perform different voice brackets or do not feel comfortable with the characters please DO NOT audition for this role.
- WE NEED VARIETY!
(1) Middle-Aged (Snobby) [In this scene Mrs. Hill (Jude Skylark's former elementary school teacher) is bullying Jude for being 'Autistic' by embarrassing him in front of the entire class. Aside from being a complete and major bitch, she is also mocking his disability by calling him "slow" and 'worthless'.]
"Because all of these other kids are not like you, Jude. They are blessed. They do their best. You don’t have any of the gifts they do. What do you do? Daydream about being Starstream all the time."
(2) Middle-Aged (Angry) [In this scene a 'Karen' extra is running toward her injured daughter Christine who just broke her back due to one of the main characters channeling monstrous strength and accidentally tossing her too far up in the struggle to wriggle a basketball free during their home game.]
"My baby! Get away you little bitch! Get your damn hands away!"
(3) Middle-Aged (Calm) [In this scene we have Mrs. Hill getting ready to teach her class, so she is kindly instructing them on what to do - this is going to show us the complete 180' she takes when speaking to her "normal" students vs Jude Skylark.]
"Okay, kids. We are going to be reviewing some vocabulary words. Open up to page thirty-nine and we will begin reading the first paragraph."
