Richard is the eldest brother to Anya and Theo, and a a veteran of the war. He is a stern individual, easily irritated, and a natural well-respected leader. He chooses his words very carefully to be as direct as possible when sharing his view on things. He speaks confidently, in a deeper, thoughful tone. There is an edge of melancholy in most of what he says.
Anya, you should've been evacuated this morning. You can wait for him in the city, where it's safe. I'm not comfortable leaving you here alone. That frontline is getting closer to us by the day. You can't stay here!!
We're going to the front tomorrow. It isn't a choice. Do you know how it looks if I'm supposed to lead a whole squadron. and I can't even lead my own brother!
She's not here to wear it anymore. She didn't want to leave before you came home. But you never came home, Theo.
