** Louie is listed as male/Female due to the fact that he is a young kid, and a female voice actor is more likely to be able to portray the voice.** Louie is not present in the first couple episodes. But due to his importance I want to cast him sooner rather than later!
Louie is a young preteen with a big heart. He comes from a clan of half human, half monkey folk, making him hairier than your average 11 year old. Louie has been summoned by a powerful magic to ensure the protection of Melanie, the one who accidentally summoned him. Even though he is but a child, Louie has been raised to be a soldier, and takes his role very seriously in order to make his family proud.
Louie is a permanent addition to the adventuring party and will be a long term role.
(At attention)
Good day ma'am! My name is Louie and I have been assigned by the gods to be your protector! I assure you that despite my age and small stature, I will do everything in my power to keep you and your party safe at all times!
(Embarrassed)
Melanie! Stop messing up my hair! It's demeaning! I'm supposed to be your fearless protector!
(Astonished)
So this is Earth...? It's so much louder than I would have expected it to be... (Shocked) Gahh! Melanie! Where did my tail go?!
This is really good! Makes Louie sound a bit younger than planned, but has a sort of cute charm to it that I like. If you could fix the pacing so there isn't too much pausing in some of the spots with the first line it would sound damn near perfect! IE: "Good Day Ma'am, My name is Louie"
Okay, I'll put together a few takes with less pausing and submit another audition soon!
Sounds good! The voice is pretty perfect so no need to change that! I can go through and eliminate most pauses in post, but I'm mostly curious to hear how it sounds especially in the first line!
