Alex is a drop out medical student. He lacks confidence in himself and often finds himself being a coward. However, while he sometimes falls short, he is extremely loyal to his Captain and gains confidence with himself when acting under her leadership. Note: Alex is a coward character but don't voice him as if he was weak, keep his strength in his voice even in the face of fear

Captain, at this point, the mission's over. We shouldn't endanger our lives when it's clear if we stay any longer, we'll die.
Not interest. Hope. (beat) The chief has no clue how to run R.E.A. We've been out here for months, and we haven't even reached the halfway point. I honestly don't know what we're doing here anymore!
I don't want to die, I really don't want to die, but I don't want you to die for my sake even more. (beat) I'm terrified, so I know you must be too. I can't leave you alone feeling like that. (beat) If I'm any consolation in your final hours, it would be an honor.
