Voice Actors needed - Youtube horror web series / ARG
Richard Gibson for Cian
Character description
Cian is the stranger Finn meets after he gets lost in the forest. He seems to be a fun-loving, friendly, playful, sarcastic person. Cian can be annoying and insistent sometimes, but it seems like he really wants to help Finn. He usually likes to joke around, but when Finn needs his help, he can be serious, genuine and helpful. At the beginning, it isn't clear if he's real or not, and only time will tell if his intentions are good.
Voice
Teen or young adult. His voice is kind of / fairly similar to Sokka's voice (Avatar: The Last Airbender) or Alberto Scorfano (from Luca), but maybe less exaggerated, over-emotional and cartoony. Of course, your voice shouldn't sound exactly like them, but you can use their voices for inspiration if you're familiar with the characters. I'd love to hear your interpretation of the character, even if it's somewhat different from my description above.

Payment Options (please read the ''Payment'' section in the overview above for more information)
a. $30 - 50 US dollars (hourly rate)
b. 10 - 15 cents ($0.10 - $0.15 US dollars) per word (e.g. $15 - $22.5 for 150 words of dialogue)
Instructions
1. Important: By far, the most important part is to sound like a real person, be as natural and realistic as possible. Don't overact and don't be overly dramatic or emotional unless the scene really asks for it. Try to make it sound like all of this is real, like it's really happening. If the character's voice is similar to your natural speaking voice or if his voice comes naturally to you that's definitely a plus.
2. You don't have to use the same exact words or phrases, I encourage you to change anything if you feel like that would make it flow / sound better, but make sure to try to preserve the original meaning.
3. Please do several takes if possible to show your range.
SCENE 1
[Trying to wake Finn up]
(hushed or whispered)
- PSSST - Hey! (short pause) Hey, can you hear me? Wake up.
SCENE 2

SCENE 3
(sincere concern)
What happened? Are you alright?
SCENE 4
(slightly sarcastic, joking)
See? I’m always right. Kind of.
SCENE 5
(awkward, joking, sarcastic)
Well… Hey, look on the bright side, at least you have me… right?
SCENE 6
(serious) You have no idea what you're dealing with. If you go, you're going to die!
SCENE 7
(laughing, wholesome)
good luck
Ha ha, cheers, but this one already got rejected! Good luck to you too, though! : )
but your voice is so good their missing out
Possibly, but oftentimes casting directors look for a specific type of voice. Whilst I'll be the first to admit that I quite like my voice, it's not always (or often, since there's a wide range of voice types out there) what a casting director might be looking for. This is why I audition to lots of things, though, as casting a wide net means you're more likely to come across a project that's looking for what you, specifically, can do for them. : )
