Restless Reptile for Count Bleck/Lord Blumiere
The main antagonist of our story. The current owner of the Dark Prognosticus (as well as its executor,), the destroyer of worlds, and Lady Timpani's former lover. He seeks to destroy the world that took him away from her. He is the main antagonist and will stop at nothing until every world disappears for good. He is extremely confident and sure about everything he does. Even when he finds out his love is alive, he is sorrowful because he won't betray the prophecy. Before he was corrupted by the Dark Prognosticus, he was Lord Blumiere, a young, noble of the tribe of darkness. We read flashback dialogue between him and Lady Timpani throughout the game.
Count Bleck speaks in the third person, as if narrating the story, except when he is alone, after being defeated, and during the Blumiere flashbacks. He is a young adult, but not terribly young. Speaking voice should be a lower to medium-low baritone, without any brightness. His voice shouldn't be gravely or gruffy. It should be refined, classy, and mostly smooth (save for maybe a "bleh heh heh bleck" or two). He is a Count/Lord, after all. Any depth added should be through the conveyance of the lines, not making his voice any different. His voice is more generic and tender and slightly younger when speaking as Blumiere during the flashbacks. Blumiere's voice should be younger and less corrupt, which differs a bit from Bleck's.
AS BLECK:
- [At BOWSER's castle, to BOWSER, MARIO, LUIGI, and PEACH. This is his answer to Bowser asking who he is, after discovering COUNT BLECK has kidnapped PRINCESS PEACH.] "By me… Count Bleck! The chosen executor of the Dark Prognosticus… is Count Bleck! The fine fellow prophesied to come to this dimension… is also Count Bleck!"- [COUNT BLECK's signature line/evil laugh. Appears many times throughout the story.] "BLEH HEH HEH HEH! BLECK!"
- [The Chaos Heart has just appeared out of the alter. COUNT BLECK is very pleased that all is going according to the plan of the Dark Prognosticus.] "Yes, all precisely as written in the Dark Prognosticus! Already it is unleashed! The Chaos Heart!"
- [In his castle, shocked to find out from his minions that MARIO and co. are still alive.] "WHAT?! ...Spat Count Bleck in utter disbelief. Surely this news cannot be true! The heroes still live?"
- [During the battle with COUNT BLECK. The heroes realize their attacks cannot damage COUNT BLECK due to his barrier. He asserts this, and almost relishes it.] "You can't so much as tug on the cape of Count Bleck! You have failed!"
- [During battle with him, after the Pure Hearts have shattered his barrier created by the Chaos Heart. It begins as an evil laugh, but fades into him being shocked that anyone has done this.] "Bleh heh heh heh...huh?! My barrier...is gone?!"
- [After defeating him, to TIPPI. He is still COUNT BLECK, but speaks as BLUMIERE here. Very tender, sentimental, and sorrowful.] "There were so many things I wanted to say to you...but I could not find the words."

AS BLUMIERE:
- [Waking up after being rescued by LADY TIMPANI. He is hurt, and shocked to be in a human's home since humans are enemies to the Tribe of Darkness, his people.] "Where. am I? Is this… a human's home? Bleccch!"
- [Perplexed by LADY TIMPANI's unconditional kindness.] "You are a strange girl... You know what I am and yet you do not seem afraid."
- [Rushing to comfort his lover, unsure of what has been done to her.] "Huh? You’re crying! Why, Timpani, you must tell me what has happened!"
