Richard is a salesman and marketer, personable, but at times taciturn, preferring to listen so as to have the advantage in a negotiation conversation. Richard loves his wife, but finds her exhausting at times and a little too hung up on appearances. Richard doesn't come from money, but has made enough that he has no need to access his wife's family's money. Anna Kat (Amazing Woman) is daddy's little girl and he has a much warmer, less contentious relationship with her than Adrienne (Mom) does.
