Although he doesn’t know it, Souta is a Yasashii Corp. Experiment; a hybrid between Humans and a fictional species called the Daemoniums. He was thrown out onto the streets with his sister Emi at the age of 10 and doesn’t know about his past. 

Due to his fleeting connection with another dimension, he’s indefinitely tormented by visions and experiences no one else is aware of. The dangers within that dimension are on the brink of breaking through to the real world.

Souta’s struggle has exhausted him. He only has two goals, to protect his younger sister Emi, and to be accepted by others as a normal person. The struggle to maintain normal relationships and constantly fight off this other realm has left him on the brink of a total mental collapse.

Souta's voice should come off as innocent, slightly confused, and exhausted, with a longing to connect with the rest of humanity.
