Trepidation - Sims 4 Voice Over Series
KSullVA for Will Driscall
VOICE RANGE/TYPE: Medium range preferred, but med-high could work. Intelligent and clever, with a friendly, yet outspoken, voice.
PREFERRED ACCENT: North American
FIRST APPEARANCE: Episode 1
DESCRIPTION: The most notable aspect of Will is his intelligence, holding a higher IQ than most people his age. He is also, unlike his twin brother, very responsible and honest out of a need to seek approval. In addition to being loyal and greatly analytical, Will can be classified as a people-pleaser, going out of his way to make others happy--even if that means overshadowing his own feelings or potential unhappiness. Despite all this, though, he can be very socially awkward, and, in cases of unwanted vulnerability or stress, he will ramble. A lot. He generally tries to avoid awkward situations but often finds himself clashing with his brother Andy. Many outsiders may see him as rather arrogant, but in reality, he is sort of ignorant to the concept of being wrong or disproven. This plays into his belief of what’s right in front of him, making him very skeptical about supernatural and paranormal phenomena.
TRAITS: Intelligent | Responsible | Loyal | Friendly | Logical | Socially-awkward | Skeptical | Competitive | Judgmental
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
-If you audition for Will and have a relatively wide vocal range, I recommend auditioning for his twin brother, Andy, as well. I’d like the possibility to remain open for casting the same actor for both roles, but it is only a small consideration since I would still like their voices to be relatively different.
-This role does require reactions to pain and torture, as well as minimal screaming/yelling. Please also be able to express complex changes in emotion. It is important to remember that Will has always been closed-minded to anything spiritual or paranormal, so he will still be going through -many- serious emotional challenges.
1 | Slightly annoyed | And it’s an urban legend. Designed to scare you. Three girls disappeared in the sixties, but there’s no evidence to prove it was him. That whole case was based on assumptions alone.
2 | Flustered / Wide-eyed / Reassuring | N-No! No, I just mean we shouldn’t split up or anything. (to himself) I mean, theoretically, we could cover more ground that way and find an exit faster, but… no! We- we want to stay together so no one gets… lost.
3 | Pained / Quiet / Gradually more alert / With heavy breathing | What do you want from me? [Beat] I… I can’t move… [Beat] What are you…? (Pained) No! AGHHH!
Thank you for auditioning! You have a great voice!
Thank you so much!
