Description: Professor Tomoko [toe-moe-koe] Peach is a leading researcher of energy sciences and Dust technology, as well as an enthusiasts of the arts. Her innovations form the energy network that allow the Academy City to run smoothly. She is stylish and artsy, and often butts heads with her colleague Dr. Oobleck, calling him unimaginative and bookish. Likewise, Oobleck calls her overly fanciful and prone to chasing any little idea that catches her.
Tomoko is based on Prof. Peach who was mentioned in the original show, but everything else is an original design and character for REMNANTS. Her design is largely influenced by Harajuku street fashion. She is based on the the Japanese tale of Momotaro, the boy born from a giant peach.
Voice: Peach has a clear adult woman's voice with a Japanese accent. While an adult woman, she is youthful in heart, is sassy and intelligent, and can be both sarcastic and thoughtful. Her voice is deep, mature and slightly raspy.
[pretends to be firm, then becomes cheerful]
"As your Professor, I must tell you the responsible thing to do is to go home on time. *sing-song voice* But as Tomoko~, I say... let's go have some fun, kids! I know just the place!"
[talking with her colleague excitedly, smiling with pride]
"Hey, Bart, take a look at this! Productivity is up across all sectors, and it's all thanks to who? Yes, thanks to my super cool new Dust filtration system!"
[fascinated, talking about a study she is passionate about]
"When someone dies, they leave behind their accomplishments and dreams, and those dreams have power to change even the world of the living. Dust... is the living form of that power."
