Phoney Bone is the eldest cousin of the bunch and the primary reason for why they ended up in the valley in the first place.

The kind of voice I’m looking for with Phoney is someone who can act like a spoiled brat. Someone who can act prideful, self-entitled, and believes that they deserve anything of value.

Before the story began, Phoney Bone was the richest person in town. Unfortunately, his life of shady business deals caught up to him and he was forced to run away leaving his riches and title. Throughout the series, Phoney spends much of his time trying to find ways to regain his wealth and return home as the Richest person again, but just as he's about to triumph, something causes him to fail in the end.

Arguably his most recurring trait would be his bitter attitude. After being exiled from Boneville, he’s often grumpy about everything, similar to Squidward since he often spends his time complaining about how things don’t go his way.

His 2nd most recurring trait would have to be his pride. Due to being the richest person in his town he often puts himself upon a pedestal, believing that he’s entitled to anything. Because of this, he comes off to his peers as being no more than a spoiled child that will throw a tantrum when he doesn’t get what he wants.

  • (Complaining) “IT'S ABOUT TIME! GET ME DOWN FROM HERE! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! MY HANDS ARE FALLING ASLEEP!”

  • (Ambitious) "Exactly! The townsfolk think we’re going to the mountains to catch a dragon, but really my cousins are gonna give them the slip and return to Boneville in triumph!"

  • (Dramatic/whining). "OH, CRUEL FATE. WHY HAVE YOU ABANDONED YOUR MOST BELOVED SON!?.....(Disappointed) God I pity me"
