I began my acting career at age 5 when I participated in a little kids' production of "Beauty and the Beast," directed by Liza Monjauze, head of Liza Monjauze Productions at the Willows Community School (although I did not attend school there, I only did the plays outside of school for fun). I continued participating in Liza Monjauze Productions for over 10 years, until the start of my freshman year at L.A. County High School of the Arts (LACHSA). There, I was cast as the Little Match Girl in The Theatre Department's 1st Year Project, which, for that year, was themed around fairy tales. My second year at LACHSA, I was cast as Portia in our 2nd Year production of William Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice," splitting the role with several other girls in our class. In my third year at LACHSA, I not only participated in our 3rd Year Project, portraying Sonya from Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov in the first half and Ma Rainey from Ma Rainey's Black Bottom in the second half, but I was also cast in the Winter play, Macbeth, as a Gentlewoman, and in the Musical Theatre Production of Guys and Dolls as Agatha, a missionary. I was also cast in a student-led production of August Strindberg's A Dream Play as Kristen, and began production on my own web series entitled Pup Chronicles. As i headed into senior year at LACHSA, I grabbed fairly big roles such as Madame Pernelle in our production of "Tartuffe" and even wrote and directed my own One-Act Play, titled "Test Session." However, throughout the year, I began to stray away from my school's regular activities as I began to partake in more and more online activities, most notably my YouTube channel, Lulu Grey Sings, where I currently do both covers and original songs.
