Hey, you can call me Star. I'm just your average girl in her early twenties who really doesn't know where her life is going, but is trying her damn best to find some semblance of joy while slaving under the heavy yolk of capitalism. I have almost 20 years of experience in theater and the arts (my Papa started me singing at 18 months and I began dancing at age 3), but due to a lot of unfortunate circumstance, I no longer feel comfortable onstage, however, I still love to perform as long as no one is looking at me.
I've been writing and creating stores since before I can remember, some of my favorite memories from childhood were constructing characters to play pretend with around songs from my favorite musicals (Into the Woods was a big one). I've always loved the genre of fantasy, often to the point that I can't even focus on other genres, unless something about it really grabs me...so, I decided that I wanted to be a story teller. A modern bard, you could say. Someone who could paint pictures with their words and write her songs into the hearts of those who listen.
Since I was about 11, I've been crafting a world called Tearmann - named after the Irish word for safe haven - as it was my own personal place, away from all the troubles outside of myself; from family issues, to trauma, to bullying. I put so much of myself into this little world of mine that sometimes, it even feels real. I know all my characters down to their core and I love to share them with others, as I hope I can with you.
