The Fat Scientist, unlike the base game scientists, has a harsher attitude towards the main protagonist. He's a bit of an arrogant person
and won't hesitate to put himself over others in dangerous situations.
Deep inside though, he's a coward and gets easily scared by many of the xenian horrors found throughout the game.
A good example would be the TF2 Classic Civilian but with a more relaxed tone.

And these are the original HL1 scientist lines.

  • [In an annoyed tone] "Ugh, why do we all have to wear these ridiculous ties?"

  • {In a scared tone, worried for his life} "I-I may not run fast...but please, take me with you!"

  • [In more relaxed, playful tone] "Maaan, I could really go for a donut just about now"
