Klaus is an introspective cloudcuckoolander despite his serious appearance. People often think he is deep and serious because he ponders a lot--what they don't know is that he's probably pondering subjects that aren't exactly academic in nature... such as what makes a good pun, what he's going to have for dinner or... why his strawberry crumble always comes out a little burned. (It's because he turns the heat too high and doesn't pay attention.)

  • [Distractedly] "You'll have to excuse me. I was deep in thought. What were you saying?"

  • [Thoughtful as if speaking about something extremely serious] "I'm certain one of my feet is bigger than the other, just slightly."

  • [Quietly, seriously] "I was told that there's an android here that needs a diagnostic."
