The Dreamside Chronicles - A Cucumber Quest Fandub
Nuclear RvsB for Mezzo
"The Intermezzo Wall, who prefers to go by Mezzo, is a wall created by the Dream Oracle to separate the two halves. It is sentient and can speak. It could not be opened without the Oracle's Key, which is broken into seven pieces, one of which is cursed, and each of which is guarded by a ferocious beast. Once the assembled pieces are brought to the Oracle and combined with enchanted glue, they would unlock the chest where the real key is. It was destroyed by the Nightmare Knight in Chapter 2, still alive but in rough shape." -Cucumber Quest Wiki
I don't have a specific voice headcanon for Mezzo, so go nuts!
[CONTEXT: You're relieved after the main cast takes a rough fall.]
(Relieved) You're alive. Phew! I was gettin' spooked for a second there.
(Joyful) Heya, kids! I'm Mezzo. Welcome to my wall, I guess.

[CONTEXT: The main cast wants to cross over to your other side.]
(Slightly saddened) Crossing over, huh? Jeez, y'know, I wish I could help... But unless you've got the Oracle's key, my lock won't budge an inch. See, her Dreamship built me to keep those old kings from fighting, right? But she ALSO made that key in case they, like, changed their minds or whatever. You know.

[CONTEXT: The heroes are in a hurry, and you're explaining how to use the key.]
(Explaining) Ooh, okay. Gotcha. Before you can use that key, there are some teeeensy security measures... so here's the deal. It's broken into seven pieces, so you're gonna have to collect those... well, take care of the ferocious beasts guarding them, THEN collect 'em... oh, but one piece is cursed, and if you grab that by mistake, you have to start over, so watch out for THAT... then you'll wanna take the pieces to the Oracle's sanctuary so she can give you the enchanted glue for reassembling the key, and you're going to use THAT key to open the chest where the REAL key is... and boom! Sound good?
