Dead Money: An Audio Drama Series Based on the DLC for Fallout: New Vegas
Richard Gibson for Dean Domino
Vocal Reference
Dean Domino, also known as the King of Swing, is a famous pre-War lounge singer, now ghoulified and trapped in the Sierra Madre Villa in 2281.
Domino is a quick thinker, and is quite skilled with guns. He is very paranoid, setting up many booby traps and hiding several 'secret stashes' throughout the Villa. He also has a rather fragile ego, and is very vengeful towards anyone who bruises it, ensuring they meet dire consequences down the line. His voice is unaltered by ghoulification, remaining clear as opposed to gravelly, like other ghouls. Dean has a very acute underlying suave in his voice; he speaks very quickly and sharply, applying emphasis to the end of consonants at the end of sentences, as well as rolling the occasional "r". It would be preferable if a replication of the original character performance could be produced, but feel free to try something new.
"Get up without my permission, I'll blast your ass so far through your head, it'll turn the moon cherry pie red."
"Christ, if that collar blows, I don't know if you'd know the difference, you'd probably still keep walking around with that dumb, blank look."
"I heard my necktie beeping. I know what that means - I'm part of this somehow. I want out of this contract. And if you put me in it, I'm not going to be too happy. So, whatever's going on here, if you're part of all this? You're taking orders from me."
