NEL-VA for Mimi
They are one of, if not, the closest friend that Emile has. Mimi is a talented and competitive battle skater who is extremely loyal to friends and brother Hana. They have a fun disposition and enjoys mocking the people they are close to, but deep down they deeply care for their wellbeing and success in the sport of battle skating.
(Inflection type: Zestful, pryful, fun and feisty!)
Director's note:
* Hana in the comic is non-binary, hence the 'they/them' pronouns used out of respect. Personally I'm looking for a female vocal to her inflection, but boys are welcome to try!
** Emile (the main protagonist), his name is pronounced as 'EE' - 'MEAL'.
*** Not gonna lie, Mimi is gonna be ALOT OF FUN to voice as, heck even I want to voice her but I know it should belong to someone else! Her attitude! That sass! But also benevolent in the right moments.

What did you skate on when you were learning?
RENTALS!? You were on rentals for a decade?!
Wait!! No way!! You're joking, right? There you are, my dudes!
You two are coming with me, you slippery little shits!!
Alright, here we are!! Welcome, my children... To the Kitsu School of Stealth Dating!!Hell, people are already planning your wedding Emile!!
Ok, I commissioned that one to piss you off, but my point still stands.
Ok, RUDE!!
But you're right, I'm not the one with the experience here. Hana is.
Mimi is also my spirit animal, but "Antlers" is like a little ray of sunshine that gets me up in the morning
I saved your audition for last on this batch Ornella! ;) I really admire the fact that you are slowly improving and evolving in your acting and vocal performances for these kinds if projects - I still hear your neutral voice in my head (that rather timid/graceful/British accent) but when you pull off that North American teenage accent it's pretty damn impressive! You nailed the sass and playfulness and even showcased some really neat moments that drive home for a character like MIMI, but sadly it is not the inflection I was looking forward - and this is a classic case of not the fault of the VA, it's just that preference/sound that the director is looking for. This also applied to Michael's (aka ModernYasha) EMILE, both of you delivered BRILLIANT performances complimented with great audio clarity! Nevertheless THANK YOU for making the effort to read the comic for preparation and having a great time recording this spirit-animal of yours. I shall continue the search. ;) Oh and btw, the improvs were fantastic! X ) So Mimi of you to do so!
Nuuuu! Damn my vocal chords! xD But for real, I understand, and that's no problem, Elson; it's all part of the job. Thank you so much for your feedback ^_^ I hope you find what you're looking for. Congrats in advance to the lucky VA who gets to voice Mimi! They're an awesome character <3
