This is just a matter of survival and how things are for him. A European accent isn’t necessarily needed, but I would not be opposed if you want to Dracula it up.
“It is over, Dex. Do not mourn. Really, who ever heard of a German superhero, anyway?”
“Here is how it will happen. You will run. I will pursue. I do not tire. I do not grow weary. I do not give up. This may take hours or days. The longest was a week. But in time you will tire. And then you will die.”
