The Wind Waker: English Dub - Second Quest
JohnDoyle for Ganondorf
The main antagonist and recurring villain of The Legend of Zelda series. He is the very same Ganon that was sealed away after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. After his seal was broken, he reemerged and reigned over Hyrule before the land was drenched with a torrential downpour. Now, Ganondorf has returned once more and is destined to find the missing pieces of the Triforce. In order to resurrect the land he once knew, which now lies under the ocean, he will stop at nothing and claim the Triforce for himself.
NOTE: This role will account for a few amounts of yelling and over exclaiming laughter. Battle sounds are also required; does not count towards the estimated word count.
Characteristics: Sinister, aggressive, arrogant, condescending, humane
Voice range: Low

(intimidating, with a powerful presence) My name is Ganondorf… And I am the master of the Forsaken Fortress.
(opposing, menacingly) You cannot defeat me with a blade that does not sparkle with the power to repel evil! What you hold is useless.
(to self, in melancholy) The winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. I… coveted that wind, I suppose.
"Smack that child's fat! Goldfish!"
I refuse to smack any child's aquatic friends simply because they have an overeating problem, even with the leverage that Pepperidge Farm has over me. They always remember. Thanks for listening!
Dude, you sound like an absolute beast here. Awesome job
Thanks again! I think that Wind Waker Ganondorf is one of the less bestial versions of himself, but I still think the voice fits.
I like the gravelly quality to his voice. Instead of making him sound angry and bitter, he just sounds EXHAUSTED about everything, especially considering he'd been waiting for the reincarnations of Link and Zelda. Can't wait to see how you'd do the laughs with this voice!
Thanks for saying so! I always kind of thought of this version of Ganondorf as the last version that had some humanity to him. Then, the events that occur under the great sea kind of wear on that last shred of sanity until he snaps. Thanks again for listening!
