ACTVA for Despair
Despair is an upbeat character who enjoys music and being a flirt. He takes on a parental role to another main character, finding it to be the fulfillment he had been looking for in their life after spending so much time trying to fill an empty spot in his heart from his childhood. He grew up as the eigth child in a family of nine with neglectful parents, so he was pushed around by his siblings and never had any real connections or love, so he went on to spend most of his life looking for connections.
I don't have any specific voice in mind for Despair, possibly something closer to a neutral gender voice though
(Fed up, joking sarcasm) It's always 'why did you jump in the river, Despair?' and 'you're soaking wet, Despair!' but never 'are you okay, Despair?'
(Talking to a grumpy character) Hey, I know what will cheer you up! What do you call a snail that isn't moving? An escar-stay, hehe!
(Talking like a parent) Caliburn, if you keep eating nothing but sugar, you're gonna die of an early heart attack!
