You pull out Oliver's report card and show him the grades, pointing to the 98 present in his reading class. (angry, impatient) "And what is this number for, hm?"

(pissed) "Your grades have been dropping." (shows a grade chart from his middle school) "You started out absolutely perfect in 6th grade, now you're in 8TH GRADE and you can't get at LEAST 1 A+. Shame on you."

(concerned, forgiving, calm) "L-look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry, but if you want to get into a good college, you have to work for it. Lazing around and pulling slightly above average grades just doesn't cut it, sweetheart."
