Akida is Kovu's cousin, he is the antagonist, he tries to take down the royal family for his own demands. He is smart but sympathetic and has a type of character where he doesn't want to hurt anyone.

    Well I came to visit you of course, it's been a very long time. But, I also came to introduce you both to Katili, my fiancé. We’re engaged!

  • Akida:

    *Sad*

    You know, when you left the OutLands when we were cubs, I hoped for you to return, but your mother was determined for you to overrule the lands, when I heard that she died and it was all over I thought you would come back, but you didn’t. So I guess I was angry, full of hate and revenge that I didn’t think about what I was doing. When I met Katili, she talked about taking over the lands again, in revenge for Zira’s death and I guess I followed her with my own demands. I am sorry for everything.
