Elena Mossman is the director of an underwater research facility, Kraken Base. She is self-assured, confident, and dismissive of others. She considers her time very valuable, and sees others as people to further her ends. She's also a double-agent for the totalitarian aliens, the Combine, and thus is used to manipulating others.
