Hahaha, thank you so much. That's ridiculously kind of you. While I'd obviously be buzzing if I got the part I'd be fine if someone else was chosen and I absolutely do not want to discourage other people from trying. This project deserves the best it can get whether its me or someone else.
I honestly thought I was a shoe in till you auditioned lol. I definitely won't be upset if you got the part over me, you sound great!
Thank you and the sentiment is mutual. I'm not a shoe-in by any means myself IMO. In fact, I'm likely to re-record my audition, as I don't believe I sound old enough for the part nor have I sounded natural enough in my delivery.
