Due to extreme stranger anxiety, he's very weak in interacting with other people. He was finally able to pass the Hero exam after failing the tryouts two times prior.
Asch was a classmate when he was in the Academy who frequently bullied him. He became a "Hero" to get rid of his geeky past but is still struggling to do so due to lack of self-confidence.
His only friend is his pet dog Buddy, but he secretly hopes he can make other friends.
His gaming skills seem to be of a professional level.

Note: Getting both of Gray’s personalities right may prove to be a challenge but are equally important, as Jet's brief appearance has to be all the more impactful.
Note 2: Jet is the type of character who swears.

Personality 1 (Gray)
Pitch: Medium to medium-high (more on the medium side)
Traits: Reclusive, Unconfident, Shy, Anxious, Polite, Modest, Gentle, Pacifist

Gray's normal speaking voice is soft-spoken, preferably with a nasal quality to reflect his reclusive self. When happy, he’s pure and truly appreciative to those who treat him well. When fighting, he struggles with the idea of having to harm others yet still fulfilling the duties of a Hero. He’s unable to control his split personality, Jet, from taking over when put under pressure.

He tends to stutter a little, but only at the beginning of his sentences (as indicated in the script).

Personality 2 (Jet)
Pitch: Medium to medium-low (more on the medium side)
Traits: Violent, Fearless, Hostile, Vicious, Merciless, Cocky, Loud-mouth

Jet’s voice is rough, vicious, and somewhat raspy. He’s the manifestation of Gray’s trauma from being bullied and his built-up anger towards Asch. If the auditionee uses a nasal tone for Gray, Jet's voice can still retain such a quality.

Note that his voice doesn't necessarily have to be lower in pitch than Gray's.
