These are Various NPCs found throughout the Mojave. They will be extras. Feel free to audition for one, or all of the lines. Entirely your choice.
This is for a store owner, which will be located within a set location. These aren't travelling merchants unfortunately. Someone who's comfortable with where they've settled, and a rather generic voice would be fine.
“Couple caravans rolled through recently. Not much going on around these parts, to be honest.”
“I heard a few people in Freeside are offering work if you’re looking for any jobs. Merc contracts, Hired bodyguards and Comedy Gigs. Those are more or less, the only notable ones I can think of. Oh! And there’s this rumor of a place called ‘The Thorn’. Ask around in Freeside, maybe it’s real.”
“You new around these parts, mailman? Let me clue you in. We don’t take NCR money or Legion dubloons. We’re neutral. Let’s keep it that way, and keep your fucking politics to yourself.”
This is for a Medic/Travelling Nurse. A soft spoken voice would be good for this.
“Doesn’t look too bad. You’ve sustained some pretty nasty scars, but this is easily sorted. Hold still.”
“I’m all out of Stimpaks, sorry. Come back in a few days, there’s a caravan coming through that supplies us each week.”
“Implants? What? (*short laugh*) This isn’t a sci-fi film. You’re in an apocalyptic wasteland, and I’m pretty sure we’re not on any spaceship business here. No, we don’t do implants.”
And finally, a Raider voice. Got a gruff, gravelly voice you can throw? Angry coughing? You'll suit this great. Give them a spin.
“Agh! You shot my arm! Bastard!”
“Put down your weapon and I’ll cave your thick skull in for you! I’ll make it quick!”
“F-fucking Jet withdrawals are starting to get to me man! I’m seeing shit. Last week I saw a Deathclaw the size of a truck! That shit doesn’t exist. It doesn’t exist!”
I'm obscured and confused by your voice, as it seems to play across all your auditions you've submitted. I'm not sure if this is your natural voice or something you've built into, but it reminds me heavily of a space marine from 40K. If you're willing to contact me and talk over a bit more, I'd be happy to take a resubmission, otherwise I'll need to pass against this. It seemed to come out more normal on the raider, hence why I'm even more confused. Thank you for auditioning regardless.
I understand, the deep tone is my natural level and I have lots of practice altering it and heightening the pitch. I'm used to the fact most people probably assume I'm using some trickery, I do know what 40k is never been called a space marine before.
