MICHELLE: (on phone) Just figure something out, please, we can’t have this happen again.
Matthew leaves. Jo SCOFFS as Michelle enters the kitchen.
MICHELLE: What are you two bickering about again?
JO: Nothing.
MICHELLE: Well. I would stay away from her.
JO: Why?
MICHELLE: Just until the scandal around her family dies down.
Jo SCOFFS.
MICHELLE: (almost patronizing) I have a hospital to run, Jo. I can’t have my daughter putting my family’s reputation at stake. You can stay away from her for a little longer. Trust me, it doesn’t hurt.
