Coming from an underground series of connected cities Cuetlachtli never really knew how big the world really was. Kids in his city would look up at the sky and be limited by the walls of the giant pit. They could only see a cut out of the sky. When he was finally allowed to leave he saw the entire sky for the first time. It terrified him. He stared at it in awe. Unable to fully grasp the largeness of it. He makes up for this feeling of smallness by doubling down on his understanding of gender norms and roles. Coming from a put upon the social class of miners in an underground city he was taught from a young age to have pride in who he is and be ready to defend his honor at all times. These teachings arose from a need to protect the young people of his social class from the lack of respect given to them by the upper classes. He spent much of his free time as a child thinking about just how big the world outside of his city was. Looking at the tiny bits of sky he could look at through holes in the earth above him. The concept of his smallness relative to other people and objects is very important to him.

He’s constantly coming up with new ways to prove his manliness to others. It’s all highly performative and stems from deep insecurity. One that makes him treat others as lesser for not conforming to his idea of what the world is.

  • HAHAHAHAHA, I enjoy watching you in pain boy, you are below us.[have a crazed laugh]

  • Come on boy, there's nowhere to go! why don't you beg? maybe then we will finish this quickly! ( with the glee of craze joy)

  • Have fun swimming with the fish. No Nova he is Dead just like the lord asks. Why are you so weak? you have compassion for this simpleton?!  (glee, anger, )
